Plot Scales for Paper Space Zoom XP in AutoCAD
The Paper Space Should be set for a 1:1 Plot Scale or 1mm = 1 Drawing units. Then in the Paper Space activate the View Port by double clicking.
On the Command Line type Z for Zoom then S for Zoom Scale. Then type the desired zoom scale factor followed by XP.
Example: For 1:100 m scale = 10xp
Plot Scale mm cm m
1:100 0.01XP 0.1XP 10XP
For the Formula:
For Example: If you Draw in Centimeters ( 10mm each) and want to print @ 1:50, you will do a "ZOOM"
( 10 ) X ( 1/50 ) = 10/50 = "0.2XP" or type directly "10/50XP".
If you draw in meters ( 1000 mm each ) and you want to print @ 1:200, you will do a "ZOOM"
( 1000 ) X ( 1/200 ) = 1000/200 = "5xp" or even type directly "10/50XP"
